Hello and thanks for viewing our Mint Condition 2001 Ford F-350 Utility / Service Truck. This truck is equipped with the legendary 7.3 OHV Turbo Diesel Engine and a HD transmission. It also has a Heavy Duty Anthony Power Lift Gate. We purchased this unit from a local municipality where it was stored indoors since new , checked daily and maintained every 30 days. You cannot find a better previous owner then a township or municipality. The vehicles fluids are changed religiously and all scheduled maintenances were always preformed on time. Vehicles brought in every 30 days for a check up, PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE and boy does it work ! municipal policy kept cigarette smoke and pets out of these vehicles so there are no messy spills or foul odors. The vehicle never left town limits so it was never driven for long perids of time and never driven hard or At excessive speeds. The drivers didn’t have to pay for fuel so this unit was never run out of fuel and always had a full tank. With all those good things and the repair and maintenance cost of the new diesels , everyone who has the knowledge is looking for good 7.3 vehicle. The newer diesels have exhaust fluid that has to be purchased constantly and used . They have exhausting RE-GEN periods where your truck has to sit and overwork itself to burn off the soot in the exhaust. All kinds of headaches that nobody wants. And let’s not forget that if you happen to have trouble with a newer diesel , the repair costs are crazy ! The cab has to come off to work on the engine. Everything on the newer diesels are all electronically controlled and you need thousands and thousands of dollars of equipment to be able to diagnose and fix them. I know someone that spent $18700 on a new 6.7 Diesel engine that blew up right out of warranty. That’s thousands more then what I’m asking for this entire vehicle. The 7.3 is very simple and low maintenance. This has caused the demand for all older diesel trucks to soar. The 7.3 is the best of the best of the older diesels.People who haave them now and had them in the past know they last forever , so this vehicle is a extremely wise investment. I said itBefore and I’ll say it again, continue to take good care of this truck and give it a bath every so often and it can last last 10’years plus. Ford stopped making the 7.3 for the very simple reason that THEY DO NOT BLOW UP. Ford was not making any money on servicing them. The 7.3 has come to earn the moniker “The Million Mile Motor”. Don’t take my word for it , do a quick google inquiry or ask a good mechanic, the 7.3 POWERSTROKE has become legendary for reliability, durability and low maintenance. This rig has just 50k orig miles and it drives perfect. With the low mileage , great condition and no rot , this truck could last an easy 10 more years and it’s available for a fraction of what the new ones cost and will outlast the new ones. Engine fires right up with a quick half turn of the key. No white smoke out the tailpipe. Transmission shifts smooth and sound. Good brakes. New Agressive tread Goodyear Wrangler tires. No leaks any where at all. The truck does not burn oil. The Oil pan is dry and not rusty. The bottom of the engine is as clean and dry. In the pictures the odometer picture is me actually driving the truck , you will notice the speedometer and the road. The truck does not bang or clunk when selecting gears. Suspension is strong and stout. Steering is right on , vehicle does not drift to either side. Brakes have a nice bite and do not seem squishy or low . They do not grind or squeak when using them . Cosmetically this truck is also a real winner. The paint shines bright and new! No dull spots or missing clear coat. A few light dents and dings consistent with 19 years of normal use. No cracked glass. No rips or tears in the seat or the dash. Interior is a 9/10 , excellent shape ! All 4 tires are almost new, little rubber nubs still there! The utility body is in excellent shape . It is rock solid and passed our “swing a heavy hammer test” a 5 pound sledge was used to repeatedly strike the cabinet bottoms to test for structural. Hurry up and buy, this one won’t last.Even though this is one of the cleanest and nicest trucks I think ive ever had, it is still 19 years old and does have a tiny amount of use and wear, don"t expect a brand new truck and we won"t have any problems... I said it before and I"ll say it again, this truck is absolutely amazing and it"s next owner will definitely not be disappointed. If your going to buy it now or make an offer, please have the funds pre secured, and leave the Non Refundable depsoit.. The truck is used and any mechanic could suggest this or that regarding wearable maintenance items. I am not saying anything needs to be replaced or repaired, just saying because its used , anyone could suggest this or that. I have been buying and selling for over 10 years on and have been able to maintain solid feedback the whole time. I do my best to honestly describe each vehicle, and my descriptions are my opinion based on 17 years in the used auto industry. Over the years I have found that a few simple guidelines and policies can save my self from wasting time with fake buyers who bid for entertainment purposes only. The truck is available to be seen pretty much 7 days a week upon appointment and for out of state buyers I can take as many additional pictures as requested and I can also provide a video of the vehicle starting and running and driving. I do not have any policies that any other legitimate auction site has. Again if you buy it now or I decide to take an offer please be prepared to leave the deposit and follow thru with the deal. No low balling please do a little research and a rust free clean 7.3 diesel utility (if you can find one ) and then in this shape is worth this kind of money and its a true one owner. I can pretty much bet the farm that there is none of these left with miles this low and in such great shape. There is no such thing as buying and then coming to look at it.
