1942 GMC Fire Truck, purchased from an auction several years ago. IT shows 11,434 miles. Clean Michigan title however the truck originally came from California. I have some original documents including the original 1941 pumper manual for the fire equipment, maintenance records dating back to the 50"s, purchase agreement form 1977 and transfer endorsement, and registration card dated Jan 3, 1956 from California for City of Woodland Fire Department.
The truck is considered a 1 1/2 ton, dual wheel, which had a General Motors 6 cylinder engine, manual transmission. Yes we did start it thru the carb several years ago and has not been moved or started since. Yes I have the air cleaner, it has the hoses, appears to be original ladders, lights, radio, gauges, adapters and everything you see in the picture.
It is very rust free under the doors, rockers, etc. There is a tear in the right fender. Tires look good and no air has been added in several years. Feel free to contact me for additional information. I decided to focus on some other vehicle I have and that"s why I am selling this one.
