This is a 1947 Seagrave Canopy Cab pumper, the type with the hidden seat accessible via the walkway through the hosebed. It was originally delivered to Sound Beach, CT. Later sold to Cavendish, VT. Vehicle has been sitting unused (stored indoors) for over 20 years. It is in very good, restorable condition, no rot, no damage other than minor scrapes to the fender and a cracked window, tires hold air. Engine is is the original Seagrave V12 which is seized from sitting.
Lots of potential for restoration. There is the option of rehabbing the existing engine or swapping powerplants. I have one option of swapping a 345 International V8 which would be an additional cost but it is available first choice to a buyer of this truck.
