1949 Chevrolet 6400 Chassis with Maxim Pumper Body. Originally purchased by Greenville Fire Department in Moosehead Lake Maine. Truck has gone through major overhaul since I purchased the truck ten years ago. That includes a cab-off restoration and painting, new tires, plugs and wires, rebuilt carburetor, new tires, new fuel pump, new battery and electrical wiring, and more. Truck includes a modern AM/FM radio and CD player hidden under seat that runs off of a secondary 12V battery. Truck looks great and runs great. Perfect for car shows and parades with the kids. All accessories will come with the truck, including federal Q siren, axe, nozzle, hard suction. Lots of great memories with this truck but no longer have the time for parades and car shows, and I don"t want to truck to sit unused. So it is time to sell. I have great photos of the entire restoration process.
