1949 FORD F-7 WRECKER Super solid and straight cab. Windows roll up and down and doors shut properly. Has a 390 big block with Holley 4 barrel that runs great with no smoke. 5 speed transmission, I don"t know if it is original to the truck or not.(2 speed rear end don"t know what gear). The winch works well,it has 2 forward gears and 1 reverse gear. I"ve towed several large trucks with it just around my shop and it picked them up with no problem. New parts include: seat covers, floor mat, wiring harness from Dennis Carpenter, rear spotlights, hydrovac brake booster, headlights, taillights and roof lights. The brakes still need attention. I had them working but after it sat a few weeks the pedal just goes straight to the floor. You may could just bleed them to get them working again. Truck could also use some new battery cables. This truck came from Georgia, which is a non-title state so it comes with a Bill of Sale only.To my knowleadge it never had a title and was sold new in Georgia. Truck is located in Stanfield, NC 28163 which is about 30 minutes east of Charlotte. I will be happy to help load or assist in shipping anyway I can but buyer is responsible for shipping. If you are seriously interested you can call me 704-361-6786. With a little more work this truck can be driven daily on the road and operating.
