1963 Peterbilt 281ta truckCummins 335, 4 spd main x 4 spd aux transmission, tandem axle drives insure of gear ratio. Truck does run very well, will run through gears, brakes could use some attention but could be due to the multiple air leaks throughout this 50 plus year old truck.
Truly a time capsule. The maps are all dated back to early "90s of downtown areas around California. First aid box still stocked with meds. I purchased this truck out of Orland, Ca with intentions of restoration, but once I seen how it was stuck in time I just couldn"t do it. So I"ve decided instead of it sitting here being yard art I"d sell and let someone else enjoy it.
It does have an aluminum frame that is not corroded. However I will have another listing for a 1/4 thick steel frame bought new from Peterbilt in 1976 with a 245wb.
As for as shipping!!!!!I will ship anywhere domestically and internationally after payment has been received and cleared bank. I can ship out on any of our trucks. I will accept wired funds from one bank to another. I will also disassemble truck until it can fit inside a Sea Can Container if buyer wishes to ship overseas. We can message each other about handling cost if that buyer wishes. Buyer will assume all shipping and handling cost.
