This 1964 commercial quality boom truck is a well preserved time capsule. My former brother passed away in May and left me one of his prize vintage vehicles. It has been in Colorado its life.
My brother Tom spared no expensive on this old truck: complete new engine (SBC), hydraulic lines/pumps repaired; braking re-done; tires are GOOD; the rear end axle is 2 speed (repaired with receipts.) Although he used the truck very little, this truck is quite unusual. It comes with various hydrualic pieces, such as various sized auguer bores, etc. When set up for drilling, the truck"s outriggers lower for stability. Truck has power take off (PTO).
Most importantly, this truck is SOLID and shows no body, undercarriage or frame rusting AT ALL. (I can take additional pictures underneath the truck for your review.) My late brother bought the truck in 1993 and owned/maintained it until his death in May, 2019. LOTS OF REPAIR RECEIPTS! available to the new owner.
This C60 truck chassis can be bought with the intention that the boom/auger portion of the truck can be removed if you don"t want it.. This will allow you to convert the truck into a dump truck, or any other variation this chassis will allow.
I will add additional photos of the truck"s under-body, cab interior. The rear axle is a two speed dually. Also, I will provide the VIN# once I locate it on the truck.
