    1966 GMC/Chevy Fire Truck
Listed is a 1966 Chevy fire truck with 1399 ACTUAL miles. PERFECT parade vehicle or advertisement piece. Look over the pictures. This truck actually looks a lot better in person. This vehicle has been decommissioned and is not usable as an actual fire fighting unit at this time. Ansel system has been tagged and the water tank emptied and the pump is in unknown condition (never checked it out). I believe everything is there including the very old gurney. The light and siren still work perfectly. The truck runs like a top. Drive it home if you are not in a hurry to get back home. I don"t think the truck needs a thing as a 1400 mile vehicle should not need anything. We installed a new fuel pump, cleaned the tank and bled the brakes when we got the truck. Everything else worked great. This vehicle is 100% original including the interior, seat, body and under the hood. I would guess the tires (that look brand new) are even the originals. I had a friend look the truck over yesterday and told me to make more money I should part it out the way the trucks are selling for. The cab is the same as a standard pickup. The doors are absolutely rust free and perfect. The seat is perfect even the cardboard over the gas tank is still there and in great shape. Lots of OEM or NOS parts. I know it"s just a fire truck and honestly not a lot of uses for it but I do not have the heart to disassemble it just to make a few more dollars. I CAN see it with a park bench bolted down on top and riding down the parade route with your company logo on the side and the kids or grand kids on top throwing candy out. Any way you look at it you could have an unforgettable time just going from show to show with front row seats for any event sitting on top of this great old FIRE TRUCK. Remember the 4th of JULY weekend is coming up along with GOOD GUYS car show all weekend long here in Des Moines. Fly in and drive the truck all weekend and then drive her home. This is another true NO RESERVE auction. This is the way we list EVERY vehicle on Ebay. Please remember when bidding the high bid must pay for the truck. Please do not ask what it takes to end the auction, there is NO, BUY IT NOW option. Sorry but I honestly do not have a price in my head so to speak. I will be out of town till this weekend and will have limited access to internet service so please message me after Thursday night. Thank you and good luck!!
