Local Alabama Volunteer Fire Department wishes to sell our 1969 Mack Tanker. The truck was refurbished in 1983 which swapped from manual transmission to automatic, according to the Fire Chief. The truck will be sold as-is; lights, sirens, deck gun, hoses, etc. Lights and Sirens do work. The cab will be cleaned out of any garbage or department paperwork and personal gear, but that will be the extent of the removal. The truck has not been active fighting fires in 3-4 years, since the department purchased a newer tanker, but the truck still cranks and drives. Before the purchase of our newer tanker, this "69 Mack Tanker was still fighting the good fight. I do not know a lot of information regarding this vehicle, but I am willing to find out or refer any questions to the Fire Department Chief. I will send more pictures upon request. The department would like to sell this 1969 Tanker for $7,500.00 OBO. Buyer will be responsible for transporting this vehicle. No Spams please. Serious Inquires Only.
