This is a 1975 Conco 4100. It is stamped in the door CO-7070 Built on 1-9-75. All of my literature says these were not suppose to go into production till May 15, 1975. I have always wondered if this was one of the original test/prototype trucks before production started. The truck runs, drives, stops, builds up and holds air. It has been setting for a number of years so it will need to be hauled to it"s new home. It has a 290 Cummins, 10 speed rtf-12510 Transmission, 12,000 lb front axle, 23,000 lb rear axle, no power steering. The engine runs great and does not leak oil everywhere. It seeps some around the oil plug, that"s about all I have seen. It holds great oil pressure and does not smoke. It needs a gasket between the turbo and manifold, it is leaking. I have recently fully serviced the truck and cleaned the tanks and added new fuel, and put a new clutch cable on it. The transmission shifts good, all the gauges work except the tack and the fuel gauge. Tail lights are missing. The rest of the light works, and turn signals need a flasher. The frame is clean and not full of rust. The cab did jack up and I"ve had it up and down several times. The last time I went to jack it up, the seal blew in the driver side cylinder. It will need to rebuilt. The interior is what it is, pics say it all. The body is in good shape and not all beat up, paint is old and faded. The tires hold air and are round and black. If you have any questions, feel free to email me about the truck. I have several more pics i can email to serious buyers. This one is a good solid all original candidate for restoration. Don"t miss out on this one because you probably won"t ever find another one. I do have over 50 pics of this truck I can email to serious buyers. Pic collectors, please don"t waste my time.
