I have finally decided to sell my mack parade truck Im going to retire and have to scale down my toy accumulation. I built this truck for bringing military vets through parades the truck was originally a semi tractor that I customized a military troop carrier bed to fit. The bed is virtually rust free which is hard to find to start with the troop seats fold down on both sides into benches. The truck is pretty much rust free as well it has a new matched set of 1100/24.5 drive tires as well as a new matched set of 1100/24.5 steer tires. The truck has budds or stud piloted rear hubs and a new set of hub piloted front hubs.This old truck has always ran like a fine swiss watch shifts good stops good has new slack adjusters too. The engine is the standard of the day a 237 maxidyne just had an oil change a month ago the trans is a straight five speed has fresh oil as well the clutch is good. The truck has no front axle brakes as was common in the 70s I have a set of front axle backing plates and shoes that I will include with the truck if the new owner wants to put them on. I wouldn"t hesitate to drive this truck anywhere its been in shows in Wisconsin as well as local it was part of the Chicago memorial day parade representing the USO for years I have won many awards with this truck. The locomotive horn and stanchion as well as the air tank is NOT included with the truck I will NOT accept paypal as a method of payment either truck has a clear Illinois title.
