You"re looking at a well maintained, 1976 Warner & Swasey / Pierce Pumper Fire Truck. I have all the maintenance manuals and recent oil analysis for the truck. Pictures speak for themselves. Under 38,000 original miles. Has an inline 6 cylinder Detroit Diesel engine and an Alison automatic transmission. Top speed is 55 to 60mph. Runs down the road really well. Starts, runs and shifts as it should. I have not tested water tank for leaks, and I have not operated the pump. Tires have decent tread, but they"re probably as old as the truck (not sure I"d trust them to drive a long distance). The vehicle mounted generator (for powering the 110v lights and outlets) was removed by the fire department, along with the emergency lights on top. The other emergency lights just need re-connected, and the siren does work. No rust! Cleaned up and parade ready! Clean Iowa title in hand. Buyer responsible for pick up or hauling. $500 PayPal deposit upon auction end. Balance due in cash or cashier"s check upon pickup. I will assist your shipper, but I will not handle any of the shipping.
