I am selling this for a small Fire Department which I am a member of. This truck was in service until one year ago when a newer truck was purchased to replace this one. It was kept an additional year until all the bugs were worked out of the newer truck.It is a 1978 Peter Pirsch with a Hale pump and lots of cabinet space. The original booster tank was replaced by the previous Operating Fire Department with a 500 gal. Pro Poly Tank. The truck runs well and has had no significant issues in the time our Department owned and operated it. Engine 36 has four new batteries and will come with it"s original service and operation manual, it has a gas generator on board but the gas engine will need some work to get it operating again. I would rate the front tires as excellent and the rear tires to be good. Truck will come exactly as in photos nothing will be removed and the diamond plate engine covers will be put back on. Truck has been indoors 99.9% of its life. It does have some rust in the cab but certainly not an excessive amount for a 1978 truck. The service body has minimal rusting. It does have a scratch on the drivers side which is in a photo along with a photo showing bubbling of paint above front wheels from rust. The lights, siren, and radio have been disconnected per what I understand to be eBay policy. This is a no reserve auction.
