Up for auction is a very nice running 1980 Continental Hendrickson fire truck. I bought this truck from a small Vermont Volunteer fire dept last week, It was in service until about 2 months ago when their new truck arrived. We drove this truck about 60 miles and and it ran and drove nice, It is powered by a Cummins NTC290, 6 cyl diesel engine and a Allison automatic transmission. Rear tires are very good and the steering tires are about 30% remaining, Truck has air brakes and stops very well, The fire dept recently put both new batteries in the truck, The fire chief said that the Hale 1250 gpm pump works but the primer will need re-packing. There is very large hose real in the back of the truck but no hose on it. To sum it all up, This is a great running diesel fire truck that would be great for parades or to pump water on a construction site or whatever. turn key and drive truck that was just taken out of service, I am a licensed used car dealer and I can provide an in-transit plate if you are from outside of Vermont and wish to drive it home, I will also store the truck for up to 30 days while you arrange pick up as long as it is paid in full within 7 days from when the auction ends with no exceptions. If you have any questions please feel free to email me or call 802-485-4920 and ask for Reggie Thanks for looking and good luck ! Ps: The deposit it NON-REFUNDABLE This truck will be sold with a Vt dmv bill of sale / Report of sale only because Vt does not title any vehicle over 15 years oldALSO, I have the original repair manuals for this truck and they are included
