For sale is a nice low mileage, (45,000) 1981 Chevrolet 2000 gallon Tender/Tanker. 427 cu gas engine, 5 speed manual transmission with 2 speed rear end. 2 wheel drive, nice tires front & rear. Brand new battery, heavy duty front bumper with 12V power. 2 - 35 gallon fuel saddle tanks, Full emergency lighting and electronic siren (the power has been disable per ebay policy). Bench seat with seating for 3, manual windows, no AC. 2000 gallon baffled steel water tank. 10 newton quick dump on the drivers side. A large diameter tank fill at the rear of the tanker with a stortz fitting. a 3500 gallon porta-tank is located the Officers side, there is a flip down bracket assembly for easy access when in the down position. 3 lower side compartments for storage. 2 traverse hose bays behind the cab for hose storage with side flood lights, a locking storage box is located on top of them. The drivers side has a hose tray the length of the tank for hose storage, there are also hangars off the tank for ground ladders or another porta-tank. The unit is set up/plumbed to receive a small portable fire pump in the drivers side center compartment, the supply line from the tank and the muffler and exhaust are still there from the previous fire pump. The unit is in nice overall condition and fully operational. The vehicle is from Montana no major rust issues or leaks. I just drove it 800 miles with no issues. With local fire resource getting stretched to the breaking point, this is a great insurance policy for personal property protection, dust abatement or large water delivery.
