    1981 GMC C7500 4x2 Fire Truck.
This is a used Navy fire truck. We purchased it for the department but never put it into service. It has 33,000 miles. Fire truck is located in Doniphan, MO 63935.
We have not tested the pump but were told it worked when we bought it. The caps are missing that keeps the water from coming out of the tank, thereby preventing us from testing the pump. It does turn over if you engage it. The levers and knobs mostly function, a few of them don"t work. I suspect it might need some work to get it back into service.
The engine runs fine and we drove it back from Texas without issue. The fuel gauge does not work. It starts right up and it gets driven every few weeks. The tires are fine and it has 2 new batteries.
Most of the emergency equipment has been removed, there is no siren. The air horn works and the lights pictured will remain, although they will be disabled.
I don"t know much about cars, so I have no idea what kind of engine it has. It"s blue, if that helps.
I"d be happy to schedule a time for you to come look at it if you"d like.
