1981 International S-1800, 4X4, 9.0 liter engine with a Allison Automatic transmission.
This is a fire services water tanker truck, formally was in the military in service with the USMC. This truck has very low mileage for its year. The overall condition is very good. The interior is very good with no wear to speak of. The water tank holds 1200 gallons. The cab glass is clear and no cracks. The tires are in very good condition. There is a red emergency flashing light bar on the roof of the cab. The steel rear body has latching doors compartments for storage. There is a spare tire rack below the rear of the tank, but no spare tire. This is very clean vehicle.
This truck currently does not run because of a blown head gasket, (water in oil). The hydraulic breaks need repairs also.
This truck sat indoors for years. Now I am attempting to sell it as is before I do any repairs to it to be able to sell it for more money. This sale is as-is, no warranty, no returns, clear title. Mileage taken by Government Agency. Vehicle inspection by buyers is recommended.
