Used Fire Truck with 50 Foot Ladder.~10,000 Actual Miles. Runs strong. All electrics and hydraulics work. Have NOT tested water pump.
Up for auction is a 1982 International Telesqurt 50" Ladder truck. This truck originates from Delavan WI and is currently stored in Elkhorn, WI approximately 12 miles away. I drive and start the truck periodically to make sure everything is in working order. It is powered by a v8 gasoline engine and a 5 speed manual transmission. I was really impressed when i went to look at this truck before buying it and simply hit the starter button and it roared right to life and purrs nicely. All the hydraulics for the ladder work, however there is a small leak in one of the hydraulic hoses. Steering and rear tires are decent. I have driven this truck to Chicago without issue. Truck has hydraulic disc brakes that work good, There are some spots where there is a little surface rust but no major rust issues. Although this truck fires right up and runs great, I would recommend that it be trailered or towed home if you are going a long distance due to age of the vehicle. This is a great collectors truck or restore project. I have the title and all of the paperwork from the original purchase by the city of Delavan. Small leak in ladder hydraulics, hose needs replacing.
Some small rust spots but only noticeable close up. Structurally solid.

ALSO; ALL EMERGENCY LIGHTS AND SIREN HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED IN KEEPING WITH EBAY RULES
I have added one feature to the original truck. A kegerator with plastic tub has been fitted into the rear compartment and a tap handle is on the side of the truck for dispensing beverages. (see picture)
