Up for sale is a 1983 gmc c70 flatbed. Powered by a CAT 3208 w/ 4spd Allison trans putting out 175 hp and plenty of torque. Truck was used to haul roof top units here and there. Overall the truck is solid and no problems with it, it has always been good to us and maintence was easy because it never had issues. It starts every time, drives straight down the road and has an axle on it that can handle way more weight than we ever could come close to putting on it. Reason for selling is we are closing one division and opening another and this truck no longer suits our needs. | “Body is in fair shape with cracked fiberglass over front left wheel and blemishes in paint from previous lettering. All tires are in good shape. Air system checks out and holds pressure as should. Truck drives straight, does not pull left or right. Motor will surprise you, dead of winter after it's been sitting and good and cold the thing will start right up and run after only a few turns. 175 hp and a whole lot of torque, gearing is low as it should be, top speed is around 55 or 60. Bed is in fair shape, used to haul roof top units and crane rode on trailer to the job. Trailer is also for sale separately, send message if interested in combo pricing.” |
