Built at the Oakdale Van Pelt factory in 1984 for the Stockton (CA) Fire, as the tale held, it ran as Engine 17 (Van Pelt #830664), where she served about 1984 until about 2007. She landed in private hands - twice - before coming our way in August 2014. As our use and needs have changed, this apparatus is being released from our little family of "toys."
