This is a 1985 Ford l8000 Salter truck truck runs and drives has a cat 3208 turbo motor as a 5-speed transmission with two speed rear has air brakes truck has central hydraulics strong and smooth truck was originally owned by Connecticut dot And then acquired by the Bradley International Airport 20 years ago I purchased it from the airport my mechanic retired from the airport and worked on this truck so he knows everything about it that"s why I purchased it from them but I have too many truck need to liquidate some of them truck is in good shape frame has no rot some scale here and there but nothing like the trucks on the road today truck originally had a Duo dump body but now has a permanent Stainless Steel Spreader needs a gearbox was removed out of the rear as shown in picture the only real rust on the cab isn"t the cab corners other than that looks really solid throttle cable sticks a little bit for not much use other than that for runs and drives tires are decent would make a great plow truck any questions feel free truck is sold a bill of sale only due to Connecticut is a non reissue title State over 20 years sold as is where is any questions feel free
