Up for bid is a 1987 Ford F8000 Roll Off truck . This truck is a workhorse! The engine is a CAT 3208 that runs great, however, please note the buyer will need to replace the head gasket or a better a rebuild. All hydraulics work, the rail system is in fair but definitely used condition. We are selling because we upgraded our fleet of trucks and this truck sits around taking up space. Recent work (last 6 months) that we have done: new clutch, new radiator and new drive tires. If you"re starting a roll off business or are mechanically inclined this truck is for you. If you put some TLC into her, she"ll get the job done as she has for us. We can"t be sure of the actual miles as the odometer doesn"t move at this point, we do know the CAT in this truck is a rebuild. Please don"t bid on this truck if you think it"s ready to work right away or be driven more than a few miles, the buyer will have to put some money into it to make her road worthy again. It"ll start, it"ll run, but I wouldn"t drive it more than a few miles as to not do damage to the engine. This auction is for the truck and rail system together.
