1988 Freightliner. 755k miles. Truck has an 855 Cummins and a 9 speed. Air ride suspension. Batteries are about 5 years old, and test good. Tires are in fair older condition (we have tires available that can be negotiated separately). Truck runs and drives (pretty good for an old beauty too!). Inter axle diff lock. AM/FM cassette (needs an antenna - only picks up a very local station). Interior is in fair shape - not completely roached out, but its not brand new either. Mattress is gone. Lights work, horn works, heat works, wipers work (needs wiper blades). Air system is good, builds good pressure, no major leaks (will leak down after a few days). Service brakes hold air pressure (no leaks when applied). Transmission shifts smooth with full engagement of all gears. Clutch brake works good. Engine runs good, no major leaks (does have some normal seepage). No abnormal smoke, no funny noises or vibrations. Air fairing mounts do have some rust, and one is broken. Frame is in excellent condition, only minor surface rust. Cab is in good condition, especially considering her age. Speedo, tach, temp, air pressures, applied air, oil pressure, and volt gauges all work.
Needs minor work - exhaust leak (elbow below muffler), good cleaning, ect. Come drive home this American classic!
