1989 Ford L8000 tandem axle diesel truck. Equipped with Vactor 2100 fan vacuum unit. This truck has a telescopic boom that rotates from side to side. Also equipped with a hydraulic drive pressure washer for hydro excavating. It would work great for locating utilities in tight areas. It works great for cleaning catch basins and sewer drains. The Vac system works great for skimming oil , moss almost any material off the top of water. I bought this truck to clean catch basins. We had a lot of rain this spring and summer. Almost all our catch basins were full of mud and corn stalks. This truck did a super job cleaning them out. I sprayed them down with the pressure washer and sucked them clean! I also used it to clean out a couple loading dock pits as well as pump pits. I charged $200 a hour and had no complaints. The tank is hydraulic dump with hydraulic lock tailgate. This truck served me well doing what I bought it for. I don"t have the time nor good help to run it as a business. It would make someone a good entry level vacuum truck. The possibilities are endless! I"m sure a guy could charge $200-$250 an hour depending on your area. Catch basins I was getting $100 per basin! The truck itself runs good down the road! It steers good and has good rubber. It is a 65 mph truck pedal to the floor! It shifts good and has a good clutch. It gets around good off the road. It has diff lock and front floater tires. It has had a fresh paint job 3 years ago. It will 600 gallon of fresh water in the aluminum tanks. Upper cummins motor has 1950 hours. Well cared for truck!
