For sale is a 1991 Dodge Power Ram 350 / Mason-Dixon Cummins Turbo Diesel custom-built drafting unit in excellent condition. It seats two personnel and features a 750 gpm front-mounted pump. No known issues.
Included in the sale is 1,000 feet of 5 inch supply line, 400 feet of 3 inch supply line, and 200 feet of 1 3/4 inch attack line along with two Streamlight Vulcan LED flashlights, a floating strainer, and various adapters and appliances.
It"s primary purpose was drafting water out of ponds, streams, and other sources in order to supply water to a fireground in an area does not have fire hydrants.
In February 2007, it had a new turbocharger, injectors, and exhaust installed as well as new leaf springs with extra leaves, shocks, stabilizers, and bushings. It was also upgraded to 19.5” aluminum wheels with industrial off-road tires from Rickson Truck Wheels. A 7 inch GPS unit was also installed.
In 2015, it had the pump packing replaced and transmission rebuilt. The lightbar and perimeter emergency lighting as well as scene lights along and siren speakers were upgraded. The unit features a real mechanical Federal-Q siren.
Full maintenance and annual pump test records are available. Single owner and accident free.
