This is a 1993 International 4700 with a straight 6cyl diesel, manual transmission, and conventional electric/power brakes. It fires right up without smoking or hesitation of any kind. I haven"t noticed any oil leaks or spots where its been parked but I"m sure it leaks somewhere. You will notice in the video that the volt guage is reading low, that is because the batteries installed were 13 years old and beyond bad so the alternator could not keep up. The new batteries installed fixed that issue and everything in the charging system operates properly. The transmission, clutch, and brakes all work very well. This was used by a local company until they retired. One of the tires was replaced a couple years ago due to hitting the pointed edge of a curb, the rest are much older. They all hold air and function properly but do have weather cracking from age. The deck is all steel and measures 8ftx22ft.
Due to the new BS California emission laws going into affect on January 1st this cannot be used by a commercial business. I have been told that it can be owned privately but I do not know that for sure, if you are located in CA please do your research prior to bidding. The registration is valid in California until Oct 31st of this year and the plates go with the vehicle so you can drive it home. I would not hesitate to drive this truck home. You can drive here to pick this up, and for about $80 I can have a flatbed wrecker come over and load your vehicle onto the deck of this.
This is located in Chico, CA 95973 which is where it must be picked up. I accept cash only if you"re picking this vehicle up in person, I can accept a wire transfer if you"re having it shipped. I do not have the space to store this vehicle so I need it gone asap!
