THE GOOD:
-2 owner truck (Lonergan/Sons purchased 6/11/99)-345,862 true, original miles-Cummins N14 460HP-9 Speed Eaton Transmission-Rockwell driveshaft and rear ends (3.73 ratio)-Cold AC-Cruise Control-2 Stage Jake Brakes-Air slide 5th wheel-Locking Diff-Spring Ride suspension front and rear-Air Ride Cab-Air Ride Seat-Sturdy-lite side box-Sturdy-lite headache rack with working strobe lights-Super clean interior-Pre-ELD-Pre-Emissions
THE BAD:
-needs tires all around, some of the tread is ok, but the truck has been sitting on the yard since 2017, 2 rear tires are very low on tread-small dent on drivers side in front of door (see pics)-small rock chip on drivers side windshield, lower left corner (see pics)-paint is peeling on top of cab, all other paint is great (see pics)-small tear on drivers seat, side panel (see pics)-front plastic bumper is faded (see pics)-needs oil changed, Baldwin filters included (oil, fuel, and coolant)-2 tears in drivers side floor mat (see pics)
Truck was purchased by Columbia County, GA (Augusta, GA) based Lonergan and Sons in 1999 with almost 250,000 miles and was used to pull a lowboy for the grading company. Truck was used very little, hence the low miles (345,862). Truck would pull equipment to a jobsite and sit for weeks at a time while the job was completed. Most equipment was sold in 2017 and truck hasn"t been off the yard much since.
It sat in a covered building when not in use and has been cranked a few times a year to move other trailers around the yard. We did drive the truck 200+ miles within the last 2 weeks and it performed very well. Truck was maintained through Freightliner in Augusta, GA.
This FLD is exceptional, interior is in as close to like new condition and exterior is very presentable. Paint and stripes look very good. Truck is spring ride front and rear and rides surprisingly well. Brakes are at 50% or better all around. Original insulation still under the hood.
Every switch, gauge, light, etc works flawlessly. Every light on the truck works, no broken lenses anywhere. No leaks anywhere. New Baldwin air filter. No cracks anywhere inside, dash and all plastics are complete and look like new. Truck cranks and runs perfect.
Super clean truck for the year model. You"d be hard pressed to find another one as nice. Truck runs very well, fly in and drive home. I can provide airport pickup if needed. Contact me if you have any other questions or need more pics: 478-993-7133.
