1997 Chevrolet box truck converted to toy hauler. Van started off life as a military on base delivery truck. We bought it from a government auction with approximately 30k miles on it and have since put 20k more on it. Truck has a 10"6 long 79 wide 70 high box with side entry door, rear barn doors and side windows. Could make the perfect food truck. We converted it into a toy hauler to carry 4 dirt bikes and sleep 4 people. We raised the rear floor to create storage for folding chairs, cots etc. and built a partition wall to secure the dirt bikes to. There is an electric crane in the rear to lift bikes or anything you want to put in the back. The partition has a storage shelf above for sleeping bags, duffel bags, riding gear etc.. The cabin features an electric sofa that folds down into a sleeping area and 2 reclining captains chairs up front. The van has a rooftop air conditioner that is ducted into the front and the rear and runs off of 120 volts a.c. Truck has a 6.5 liter turbo Diesel engine that runs great and gets 16.4 mpg on the highway running 70mph fully loaded. Truck does not have dash AC so you would have to run a generator while driving to have AC. The tires are fairly new and have lots of life left in them. Brakes are strong and the transmission is a 4 speed that shifts great. The rear bumper has been lengthened for a step and a channel added to carry another bike or cooler or generator if necessary.
