1997 International MedTec Ambulance. This is a low hours / mileage ambulance with a MedTec Body built in Elkhart, Indiana. It has a DT-466E Detroit Diesel Turbocharged 6 cylinder engine. Allison automatic transmission. No CDL required.
We purchased in mid-2019 and no longer have a requirement for it. We added a trailer brake controller and trailer plug. New owner will have to install a trailer hitch.
All electrical systems work including interior and exterior lighting, emergency lights, siren, PA etc. No communication radios are included. Brand new FM radio. Vacuum and medical oxygen systems work (cylinder not included).
The vehicle is stored indoors and is located in Tacoma WA. Will entertain delivery options. Ready for pickup after paid in full.
Note: This is a private vehicle used for Fire/Rescue Operations. New owners will have to seek regulatory ambulance re-certification.
Vehicle is currently license for Washington State private ownership (not government exempt). Clear title. Vehicle available in Tacoma WA for test drive or viewing.
