1997 Peterbilt with a fixed one car head rack. Truck has a rebuilt cummins M-11 motor with over a million miles on the truck TMU. 10-speed, clutch works fine, Plenty of life. Truck has full gauge package, ice cold air conditioning, AM-FM Radio, sliding fifth wheel. perfect truck for hauling cars. truck does not have power divider locking axles. They call this setup a 4x2 so only front right tandem has drive power. rear axle has no drive shaft. my plan was to make it a lift axle for NYC tolls. Bought truck in California and drove it back with a load to New Jersey with no issues.
Trailer is not included in the sale. Just wanted to give an idea of how far back the fifth wheel sits back. It looks like if you where to have a setup like this you could slide the fifth wheel and deck up to load the head rack. I"m not sure but it looks pretty darn close. Also on the dash there is a little computer box that says something about air filter. I"m thinking its probably that California clean air filter, again I"m not sure if its there or if they took it off or if its even that at all, but i google that company and it does say Particle filter. I do know this when you start it up there is very very very little smoke if any at all, and exhaust pipe has almost no black carbon build up. This truck was driven over 3,000 miles and the exhaust says it all!
All Tires are 285/70/19.5 less than 30% on all.
