Up for sale is a 1997 Pierce Saber Fire Engine. Truck is in overall good condition. See pics for detailed pictures.
This truck originally came from the City of Modesto, CA.
Miles 172,794.
Engine: Detroit Series 40 Transmission: Allison Automatic MD-3060R w/ transmission retarder and push button gear selector.
The cab seats a total of (6) people including the driver position.
Pump: Waterous 1500GPM single stage w/ Foam Pro 2001 System.
750 Gallon Water Tank. It does have class A and B foam tanks, but unknown capacity.
There is a front large diameter intake in the front bumper, (2) 2 1/2 intakes, and (2) 6 reduced to 4 intakes.
There is (1) 1 1/2 front bumper discharge, (1) pre connected booster line, (6) 2 1/2 discharges and (1) pre plumbed deck gun.
The Waterous pump is operational, holds a prime and builds pressure as normal. The Foam Pro system has not been tested for functionality.
Tires: Front tires are in good condition at about 65%, the rear tires will need to be replaced soon. The truck has chrome wheel simulators installed on all wheels.
The truck is pre-wired for David Clarke headset system.
The truck does have an Air Conditioning system that turns on, but no guarantee on its 100% operation.
The truck originally had a generator installed, the wiring is still there.
The truck has had the following upgrades:-Installation of Truck-lite LED headlights -Installation of all LED brake lights and turn signals-Installation of LED rear high mounted scene lights -Installation of LED lower front side warning lights -Installation of LED front warning lights
