1998 f800 4x4. 33,000 gvw. 20" flatbed. About 13" from the back of the cab to the center of the rear axle. I purchased this truck a little over a year ago with the intent to mount a drill rig on it, but never got around to it so here it is. Cummins 5.9 runs great, but is a little weak for a truck this size. Transmission shifts good, high and low range shifts good. I drove it home from eastern Missouri to western Colo. when I bought it. That was around 1000 miles and didn"t have any problems. It did feel weak climbing the mountain passes and slowed way down. 55 is a comfortable speed in this truck and that puts the rpm at about 2100. New steers, the rears will need replaced soon. Radio doesn"t work and the wait to start light doesn"t come on. Brakes feel good. The compressor keeps up as long as the truck is running but the air bleeds off soon after you shut it off, needs new air lines I think. The top of the flatbed is about 61 from the ground. All and all a pretty clean truck for the age. I"m sure I forgot somethings, so email questions or call 970-596-1800. Located in Montrose Colorado 81401. As is, where is. Inspections are welcome. Thanks for looking
