1998 Peterbilt 379EXHD Cummins 525 Super 10 transmission 3.55 gears 63 Unibilt sleeper - I bought this truck with the intention of doing a racing motorhome conversion on it - before I sent it to 5150 Race Trailers in Lewisburg, TN, I put 4 new batteries, new starter, 10 new tires and polished wheels from Hill Tire Co. in Atlanta and had Peterbilt of Tallahassee install new brake linings, hardware, axle seals, new drums, and a new rear differential. I also removed the sleeper and exhaust stacks and repainted the cab and hood before sending the truck to TN. The sleeper has been stored inside while the truck was waiting to have the conversion done. 5150 had my truck and a large cash deposit for 9 months and I just picked up the truck a few days ago unfinished. The truck drives nice and smooth as I just drove it 450 miles from TN to FL. Feel free to reinstall the sleeper or make the truck a day cab - either way you"ll be getting a nice truck with $10,000.00 recently spent on all the tires, brakes, etc. - I"m frustrated and don"t want to mess with it anymore so my loss will be your gain - the sleeper will most certainly go with the truck and I will set it on the back frame (whoever buys the truck will be responsible for strapping or mounting) - I also have a new front bumper that will go with the truck - the pictures of the red truck is how it looked when I first bought it - call Mike with questions at 850-865-0999.
