**Reserve Auction**… Just in time to support fire suppression requirements during the 2017 fire season…I have a very nice 1999 Chevrolet 3500 (1 ton) 4x4 Type 6 Wildland Initial Attack truck for sale, 118,000 original miles, owned, operated and maintained by the same Fire Dept since it was custom built in 1999. Regular vehicle maintenance and servicing as a FD fleet vehicle. Integrated rear roll bar, custom rear build-out, 3” suspension lift, 454ci Vortec gas engine, AT, PS, PB, the truck comes with a Pioneer detachable face stereo/CD player, electronic siren control unit with mounted siren speaker, red LED grill lights, red side lights, a red LED cab mounted 360 degree emergency light. ( all emergency equipment has been disabled per Ebay policy ) “Ice cold A/C”, 35 gallon fuel tank, 4 position transfer case, 200 gallon water tank, 5 gallon foam cell, vanguard 18 hp V-twin electric start gas engine, electric fuel pump supplies fuel from the trucks main fuel tank, Darley 1.5AG (1 1/2AG) fire pump, 150gpm at 80psi, pump and roll capable, Electric 1 live reel with 100” of redline. 3-side compartments on each side with 2-hose well trays above the rear side compartments, with an upper storage area above the water tank. There are equipment brackets in the large side compartments to accommodate hand tools. I will also include 2 Polaski’s, 2 Mc Cloud’s, 1 Adz hoe, 2 shovels and 2 hand pump back pack bladders. Goodyear 235 85 R 16” traction tires, all 60%+, upper mounted spare tire. “Zero rust”, needs absolutely nothing, ready to go back in service tomorrow, protecting your ranch, working as a contract resource or going back into municipal service. This unit has been meticulously maintained its entire life, I have some of the the service records, it’s in very good overall condition. Just drove it 950 miles home, it drove 75-80mph like an absolute dream. I would not hesitate driving it across the US!!
