**No Reserve Auction**… Just in time to support fire suppression activities during the 2017 fire season…I have a very nice 1999 Chevrolet 3500 (1 ton) 4x4 Type 6 Wildland Initial Attack truck for sale, dual rear wheels, 118,000 original miles, owned, operated and maintained by the same Fire Dept since it was custom built in 1999. Regular vehicle maintenance and servicing as a FD fleet vehicle. Vinyl bench seat that will accommodate 3 adults, heavy duty rear roll bar that"s built into the custom rear fire suppression unit, 3” suspension lift that provides excellent ground clearance, 454ci Vortec gas engine, AT, PS, PB, AC ice cold, new Optima battery, all the glass is great. a Pioneer detachable face AM/FM Stereo/CD player, 1-electronic siren with a 3 position accessory power control unit, 1-mounted siren speaker, 2-red LED grill lights, 2-vehicle mounted red side lights, 1-red revolving dash light, 1-red strobe visor light, 1-red/clear LED cab mounted 360 degree emergency light and 1-Mototola Converta-Com unit are also included in the vehicle auction. ( all emergency equipment has been disabled per Ebay policy ).35 gallon fuel tank, 4 position transfer case, 200 gallon water tank, 5 gallon foam cell with foam eductor, Vanguard 18 hp V-twin electric start gas engine, electric fuel pump supplies fuel from the trucks main fuel tank, Darley 1.5AG (1 1/2AG) fire pump, 150gpm at 80psi, pump and roll capable, Manual pump primer, Electric 1 live reel with 100” of redline. 1-drip torch bracket, 1- spare 5 gallon foam container bracket, 1 compartment mounted 12V battle lantern, extinguisher/SCBA bottle bracket, 3-side compartments are on each side, they have hose wells that are located above the upper rear side compartments. there is also an upper storage area above the water tank that houses the 16 spare tire. There are equipment brackets in the upper side compartments to accommodate hand tools. I will also include 2-polaski’s, 2-Mccloud’s, 1-adz hoe, 2-shovels and 2-hand pump back pack bladders, 1-set of tire chains, misc nozzles & quick connects (pictured under under hose reel). 6-Goodyear MS 235 85 R 16” traction tires, all 50%+, 1-upper mounted MS 16 spare tire. This unit has been meticulously maintained its entire life, I have the service records, it’s in very good overall condition. Just drove it 950 miles home, in 90 degree heat, it drove 75-80 mph like an absolute dream, engine water temp was consistently between 185 -190 degrees F with the AC on. I would not hesitate driving it across the US!!
