2000 Freightliner FL70 Box Truck
Cummins Engine (diesel engine, runs great, batteries charge, cranks, turns over)
ISB Cummins 24 Valve
Engine valued between $3,500-$6,000 as-is
Cab & Truck Body are in very good and clean condition.
Bought New in 2012 by Green Front Furniture Company in Farmville, Virginia and used to transport furniture and oriental rugs from Farmville to deliveries from Richmond to High Point, NC under the name CAPA.
Truck was running as recent as December 2018 until transmission stopped pulling when put in reverse, but still shows in drive. Was taken to Western Branch Diesel in Ashland, Virginia for repairs. Green Front donated the truck to a local nonprofit, the Historic Staunton River Foundation in late January 2019 and the Foundation removed the box to use for storage.
The Foundation has a clean title (no liens) for the Truck and no longer needs the body, chassis, engine, and other parts. Would make for an excellent flat-bed truck for farm or work, or for parts for a the same make/model/year. Engine runs smooth and clean.
*Allison Transmission (3060p Allison transmission) stopped pulling; driveshaft removed by Western Branch Diesel)
*Allison Transmissions (used) run on eBay/online from $600-$1,500
