You are looking at a 2000 GMC W4500 16ft Gasoline engine Box Truck. It has 16 foot supreme box with roll up door. It has a 5.7L Gasoline engine with an automatic transmission. It runs great and very strong, shifts smooth and steers very well. It had a problem cranking up in the cold, so in January we put a new GM fuel pump on it. (it had a generic fuel pump and I was told those can cause this) and it cranks great every time now. Also in January it had a full tune up. It runs and drives good with no mechanical problems we could find. When I purchased it the AC was disconnected and I never hooked it up so I assume the AC has some issue with it. The heat and blower works fine. It had 6 new tires put on in February ( Double Coin RT600 Premium Low Profile Regional/All-Position Steer Commercial Radial Truck Tire - 225/70R19.5 12 ply) $ 185 each installed ($1198.80 total with tax). Tires have about 150 miles on them. Also comes with a new rim ($175) for spare. Also included extra tire for truck that is in good enough shape for second spare. Truck has a 2000lb lift gate. Lift gate is 46x84. It is not the tuck under kind it fits up against the door. See photos. Lift goes up and down fine, it is missing the spring assist that aids in lifting the platform upright, so you would need a new spring for that, but one person can lift it, never been an issue for us (I have a 50 year old worker that lifts it). Lift deck is in good shape, just has paint spilled on it. Blue, white and yellow paint used for painting parking lots.
The body is in good shape with average wear for the year and miles. The box is 16ft long and has a roll up rear door . Inside the box has plywood walls and wood floor both in good shape. (no holes or rot) Inside box looks rough in the photos, it’s actually spilled paint, the truck was used to haul barrels of paint for parking lots and road painting. The cab is a tilt-cab, and the cab interior is a little worn, most stains on seats, no major issues.
Drivers seat has good size tear in it from getting in and out and passenger side has a small tear as well. Am/FM stereo cassette and cb. If you"re looking for a good running 16ft box truck with liftgate this is a good one.
Cab paint is in great shape, looks like a much newer truck and the blue is great, all others seem to be white. Truck has 2 rear spotlights to assist backing at night and two 16 bulb LED spotlights on top of side view mirrors , they can be rotated to face forward or back. (see photos for lights)
Occasionally the service light comes on, code reads as evap. Description of evap is as follows, after reading you will see why we haven"t done anything about it. ( EVAP leak is a fault in the evaporative emission control system ( EVAP ). The EVAP"s function is to keep gasoline fumes in the fuel tank from reaching the atmosphere. ... The most common cause of an EVAP leak warning, or the Check Engine Light , is the gas cap not being closed properly. We are getting rid of this because the box is just not long enough for what we need, we are buying a larger one with a 20’ box.

Its hitting on the bottom of the bed. It could be notched out and issue resolved if need be. It was like that when I bought it and hasn"t been an issue for us but I wanted to be upfront about everything.
