The Sterling M7500 Acterra is powered by a Cummins 5.9L diesel, with a 5+2-speed manual transmission behind it. The engine fires right up and runs great. The transmission shifts smoothly, clutch position right, no slipping or grinding (should have lots of life left in it). Truck drives straight down the road, steering tight, brakes good, no unusual noises. Body of truck is in nice shape considering what it does day in and day out. All storage compartments are functional - doors open and close with ease and lock. There is some surface rust, as you can see in the pictures. The interior is in good shape; looks like the driver seat has been recovered. This truck is equipped with A/C. All glass is good; all windows and doors open and close like they should. The tires look like they have a lot of tread - around 75% remaining.
The 60 foot working ht. HiRanger 5TC booms have been well maintained and work great! No leaks, no whines or grinding, and all movement is smooth. There is a two-man bucket and a winch. Upper and lower controls. The four hydraulic outriggers keep the rig steady.
