2002 International 7500, ISM CUMMINS 330/370 engine, 8LL transmission, 20k front axle, 46k rears, air lift 3rd axle, hendrickson Haulmaax Suspension, McNeilus 60K rolloff hoist with extendable rear tail. I bought this truck from municipal about 1 1/2 years ago with intentions to use it as a backup truck. I never ended up needing it and Im thinning out the heard of some things I have that we are not using before cold weather gets here. The truck originally had a DT530 Engine, but the original engine went down and they shoehorned an ISM Cummins in it, which is also a 2002 engine. The engine runs good and seems to have good power, good oil pressure, runs cool, does not leak oil everywhere. It does have a small exhaust leak, sounds like it might be the manifold gasket and the engine light stays on and the abs light stays on.. The engine light does not affect the running of the engine and the brakes work as they should. When you let the truck set for a few days, it loses its prime. It will always start, just give it a little fuel when you first fire it off and it will pick up run. The transmission is a 8LL, it shifts good, pulls good, does not jump out of any gear. 7th and 8th gear make a little noise when you let off the fuel, but goes away when you accelerate. It might have a synchronizer getting weak in those two gears, it works fine the way it is and might last forever. The hoist works well and has a new valve body at the cost of $1500.00 The body and cab are in good shape, paint has a shine and good appearance, paint is starting to come off the rear of the roof as you will see in the pictures. The frame is very clean and rust free, this truck is not ate all up in corrosion nor been in the salt. The interior is not bad and in very clean and in good shape compared to most rolloff"s this age. All the gauges work, but the odometer does not record. It stays at 0 at all times. True miles are unknown on the truck. They thought it to be around 150,000 miles when I bought it, But I have no idea what the miles are. All the lights work, does not have A/C. It does have a new tractor protection valve in the cab and one new rear air valve. Rear tires are 11r22.5"s and are mismatched but in good shape, steers are 365/65r22.5 and are useable, lift axle is 425/65r22.5 and are in good shape. All the bushings in the suspension seem tight and in good shape. The truck drives straight down the road, front end is tight, brakes stop good, and turns 1600rpm @ 55mph. I do not know the ratio of the rears. This truck is not perfect, but it is clean and not beat up or ragged out like most rolloff trucks are this age. Ive tried to list all the bad I know about the truck. The truck needs to be picked up and gone within 30 days of sale. You are welcome to come check it out in person or email me with any questions.
