This bus/van until a few weeks ago was owned by a government agency (county – rural health system) that recently contracted the service out. We purchased the ambulance/van directly from them, not from an auction, dealer or broker, simply turning it into cash. Before they sold the unit it sat idle not being used for almost 3 years, not cranked, not used, nothing just sat in a parking lot! After purchasing we put new batteries in the ambulance, cranked it up and brought to the shop to clean and photo for eBay. Please note the ambulance is 12 years old, has over 300k miles on it and has sat not being used for 3 years. The engine needs some to be ran, filled with fuel and ran some more, was running funny when we first cranked but has gotten better the more we run it, does not run hot and it does have good oil pressure, the air conditioning is not blowing cold, blows but blows hot air, the unit has some dings, dents and scratches all around it, the running boards and bumpers are bent up, the transmission has to be placed in neutral to crank because if you crank in park it will not shift out of park, the park lock/unlock doesn’t work properly, nothing wrong with the transmission at all just shifter if not cranked in neutral will not move out of park after cranked in park, the driver’s seat is ripped/torn, the carpet and seats are stained, tire condition is good and can clearly be seen in the photos and video, other than that what you see is what you get! We are selling the ambulance with a clean-clear title and bill of sale, it will crank up, drive down the highway, has quite a few miles and is selling regardless of price, seems to still have some life left in it but will need a little TLC – engine/transmission serviced – a/c repaired – etc.!
