You are looking at a 2006 Ford F-650 XL Super Duty. Itis outfitted with a Caterpillar 7.2L Cat7 Diesel Engine. ThisRear Wheel Drive Cab & Box Truck has only 26k miles.This unit was specially constructed for the Union PacificRailroad as a Locomotive Service Truck. It is a One Owner.

This F-650 has seen very light service and is barely brokenin. We acquired it with the thought of making a dump truckby removing the box.
We came to find out the Box is an INSULITE fire retardantwork box and it has an extensive array of high end equipmentinside. We are offering this unit to anyone who would possiblywant to make a service truck out of it, or would like to usethe Ford F-650 Cab & Chassis to make whatever they need.
With the truck coming from Union Pacific we retained the OperatorsManuals written for the specification and operation of thisspecialty vehicle. The vehicle is called a LOCOMOTIVESERVICE TRUCK.
All the systems on this truck utilized compressed airthat ran and were supplied from the LOCOMOTIVEitself. In order to use this truck without the LOCOMOTIVE,an operator might craft a trailer that has high pressurecompressed air.
The box has ladders for entrance on each side. Theyretract from the fire proof box. This unit was designedto operate sand, oil, water, chemical and toilet wastesystems.
The SAND system is effectively a mobile sand blastingoperation. The large center tank in the box holdssand and can be filled from a ventilation door in theroof that opens and folds away. The tank is filled withsand from gravity flow.
There is an Engine Lube Oil Tank that is used to storeand distribute oil to equipment in the field.
There is also a water tank for coolant/water for servicingengine and equipment needs in the field.
The rear box is also heated.
The REAR BOX CAN BE REMOVED TOUTILIZE THE CAB & CHASSIS ...
