2007 Isuzu NPR - also called GMC W3500 - for sale. 12000 lb GVW. 5.2 Isuzu engine - 189568 miles. I have owned the truck for about 2 years. Bought truck and installed the gooseneck hitch and the diamond plate - converted to a gooseneck hauler. The diamond plate is simply clamped on - not welded or permanently attached. Easy to remove if you like. I installed it because I didn"t want rocks or any other debris flying up between the frame rails and damaging something. This truck pulled a 2 car gooseneck trailer rated at 14000 lbs. I"m told you do NOT NEED A CDL to operate this truck with a trailer of that size! Additionally, if you don"t plan to tow a gooseneck trailer, you can simply unscrew the gooseneck and diamond plate. I"m told it"s easy to put whatever body you want on; flatbed, enclosed box, wrecker body, etc.
Truck has all options - power windows, locks, tilt, cruise, A/C, Bluetooth radio with hands free mic installed. Also installed is a brake controller for pulling trailers.
All tires have LESS THAN 1000 MILES ON THEM - all are new Michelins - no recaps!!
Truck runs and drives great. Plenty of power, this truck is geared for local to regional runs. It does have a few small issues - the glove box door needs a new latch. My driver just screwed it shut so the door would quit rattling. At idle, there is sometimes a minor belt squeak with the A/C on - I believe it will need to be replaced. The A/C does work. Additionally, the Check Engine light sometimes comes on after the vehicle is started. A shop handheld scanner indicated there was an issue with the Glow Plug Control Module. Price from Isuzu was about $300.00. As the vehicle always starts immediately, and the glow plugs do seem to work, I did not replace the module. Other than that, there are NO KNOWN ISSUES with the truck.
