Up for auction, I have a 2008 GMC C5500 Rollback Tow Truck. The truck has had only one owner and driver since built. It is a four wheel drive (4x4) with the V8 Duramax diesel engine and Allison automatic transmission with exhaust brake. The majority of its maintenance has been performed by TransWest GMC in Denver. It was repainted when built by TransWest to a shiny yellow paint. It has a clean interior loaded with all power options and has never been smoked in. It has Alcoa wheels and polished stainless steel toolboxes. Truck has been on the CSP call list and will pass a current DOT inspection, everything is in working condition. This truck has never been wrecked or in an accident. It has been a Colorado mountain truck so it does not have any major rust but it does have some surface rust under the bed (see pics). The bed is a 21" removable rail steel JerrDan. It operates great - no hydraulic/oil leaks. It has a PTO activated high idle when using the bed. It has a hydraulic wheel lift and comes with tow lights and some chains to tow your car home with.
The only thing it will need is tires come winter. It has summer highway tires with about 50% tread. After 200,000 miles there is some wear on the cloth drivers seat all the others are fine.
This truck has been in service up until last week - now our new truck is here and this one is ready to go to work any where - fly in and drive it home.
