We are selling a 2009 PL Custom Chevy 4500 ambulance. This is a Cadillac of ambulances. It is loaded with lots of option: * All LED lighting * Opticon for changing traffic lights * Whelen Traffic Advisor under rear light bar * Electronic Q-Siren and Powercall Siren * Hydraulic oxygen cylinder lift * Back-up camera as well as patient compartment camera * On Spot snow chains * Rear airbags to lower rear of ambulance * Dual air horns * CaseMed 740 patient monitor (SpO2, BP, HR and Temp) * LED patient compartment lights * Amazing flag design on rear doors * Diamond plating trim and rub rails * New wheel simulators
This unit comes from a VFD in Maryland. It was purchased in a multiple ambulance package and was the only Chevy 4500 in the group. Our service has purchased over 10 ambulances from this department and we have been extremely impressed with all their units.
The only option that we feel is missing from this unit is an inverter. The unit does have a battery tender attached to the shore line, but the unit does not provide AC power away from shore line.
Since our purchase, we replaced the wheel simulators due to the old ones having some scratches and a few dings. The unit blows cold AC, air pump works for snow chains and air horns, and our service mechanic has performed oil change. The unit has no leaking fluid and tires are around 50%. You could add your radio system and place this unit into service.
