Truck is in very good condition and will start, run and drive. Located in Salem, VA.
Truck was in dealer lease program and they put a factory reman engine in the truck at around 130k so engine only has 100k on it. This was done by dealer in VA and they can verify the work history. Apparently it was returned from a lease with a stopped up blowby tube so instead of replacing the tube to see if it fixed the leak they assumed it had excessive blowby so they put a factory reman in it. We just completed the dealer recommended 100k mile top end inspection. The truck was making a popping noise which is generally the rocker tube. We replaced all the rocker tubes, inspected and replaced any rockers that were needed, replaced all retaining balls. We spent around $5k on it. These MF 7 engines get mixed up with the MF13 which is the one that really gave the problems with getting too much raw exhaust in. These are good motors. The key is to check that top end every 100k and keep the standard egr maintainence done and they last as long as anything else.
No defects we know of other than normal wear and tear. Inspection welcome during auction.
