1941 American LaFrance fire truck, originally Elkhardt IN. Body is in great shape and the truck runs and drives nicely. it is in original condition with minimal rust with it"s pump removed prior to my receiving the truck. Mechanically it needs charging system work, brakes, and starter Bendix serviced. The American LaFrance 500 series is a very unique and rare fleetside fire truck - meaning there are no external boxes hanging off the side and it has a smooth quarter panel like that of a passenger vehicle. All equipment was stowed inside the body and it features a large pullout tray in the center of the rear floor. This will make the ultimate parade and marketing vehicle as it is very unique. Sold by a dealer with a dealer bill of sale. Naturally as a 1941 model it is used an out of warranty!
