Up for sale is a Beefy excellent running & operating 2006 Ford F550 Bucket Truck with 20,000 miles on a new drivetrain!!!! Attached to this truck is a recently ANSI certified, Terex TL37M Articulating -Telescopic Boom Lift with a 42" working height and a 1000 # Material Handler Jib!!! The lift is mounted to an 11" Terex utility body with plenty of tool storage, and extended rear working platform. In addition to the fresh ANSI Inspection, this truck was also recently PA Inspected, and it did not need a thing! This truck is clean, well maintained, and solid!Clean title history (no accidents), and title in hand.
History:This truck was fully outfitted, and purchased new by a local city maintenance department in 2006. It was fleet maintained until 2016 when it developed an oil cooler issue at 165,000 miles. The vehicle was then auctioned by the city, and purchased by a very reputable utility sales company that specializes in the refurbishment and sales of quality used bucket trucks. I stumbled upon the truck as it was going through a complete engine rebuild, from the bottom up, in preparation for sale. What drew me to this truck was the upgrades, and advancements that were being added to this engine to assure that it would not have cooling issues in the future, which plagued some of these early 6.0 Power Stroke Diesels. If done right, this engine is one of the most reliable diesels you could ever own, and this engine was done right! This truck was rebuilt, and bulletproofed with the following: New crank, new pistons, new cam, new heads w/ARP studs, upgraded spool valve injectors from Warren diesel, turbo taken apart cleaned and inspected, upgraded EGR cooler, upgraded oil cooler, bypass oil and coolant filters, etc. (see attached engine compartment photos and have your mechanic take a look). The engine work performed on this truck alone exceeded $10,000. As I witnessed this work, I purchased this truck without hesitation. Unfortunately, after 6 months of owning (Nov.2017) the transmission started to slip a bit (not uncommon for a city short jumper) so I decided to put a new transmission in, and had a transmission cooler installed as well. This was another $5000, but worth the expense for a truck like this. There hasn"t been any issues since. This truck starts right up in the cold, no smoke, no leaks, great tread, AC, ready to work! BRING IN YOUR MECHANIC, OR HIRE A THIRD PARTY IF YOU THINK THIS IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! Regardless of the new drivetrain, and nice lift, understand, this truck is a 2006, so it has some minor cosmetic dings, and scratches. It also has a tear in the seat, but I covered it with a quality seat cover. These are the only known issues with the vehicle.
