We have up for sale our 1984 Altec D947 Digger Derrick truck. The unit is mounted on a 1984 Ford C-800 cab over with 95,000 miles, a 3208 cat diesel with 5 speed Allison automatic transmission. The unit has an 18,000 lb crane, 18 Pengo auger with 8" Kelly bar extension, capstan drive, 47" sheave height, and upper controls that will reach 50" with a man basket attached (basket not included). We have owned this truck since 2008 and use it regularly. The utility body is in rough shape but serviceable. The truck was originally from Illinois hence the rust. This truck requires a commercial drivers license as it has air brakes and is rated at 32000 lbs. Recent tires on the rear, serviceable on the front and a spare tire and wheel go with.
