    1954 American LaFrance model 700 pumper. This firetruck was driven around the Louisville, Kentucky streets where the well know bars and entertainment strip is, often with people on board who stood in the 5 foot by 10 foot pool area. There is a great video of this firetruck on Youtube driving down Baxter Avenue on a St. Patricks Day evening years back. Do a internet search for Pool Party Express and find the Youtube video. The firetruck glows at night with several colored led neon lighting and has a music system on board. Truck has a 120 volt a.c., 8 amp. power inverter. There are two l.e.d. powered signs that are mounted on the firetruck for advertising. Translucent signage panels slip into unit. The firetruck has a The firetruck was in many parades and bachelorette parties. We no longer put water in the firetruck and haven"t driven it much in the past two years. It has been entered into Ripleys Believe it Or Not book and been talked about in many news articles in Louisville and received International attention. It still runs well but needs be restored by someone. Note: I wrote mileage 30,000 I did this just to get the ad going ( Unknown Mileage )
