Up for sale here is a 1985 Ford Rollback with a 300 straight six motor in it. I"ve moved a forklift with it over 100 miles. It gets good gas mileage.
It starts right up and will run all day long. It has a 4 speed manual transmission which shifts great. It has a new clutch in it that is about a year old.
The PTO works, and the tilt and slide motions on the bed work fine. The hydraulic winch did stop working however I believe it is an easy fix.
The rocker panels on the cab are half gone as you can see in the pictures. The floor boards are there but have rust too. The cab itself is not in the best shape but it never bothered me.
The truck has a CD player in it and radio. The driver side speaker goes in and out sometimes. I"m sure it"s just a loose connection.
The power steering has been getting weak. I believe it needs either a new power steering hose or a power steering pump. I think it just needs a hose but I"m not sure. I have driven it as is with no problems.
The drivers side window does come off track but it"s easy to operate with some finesse.
This truck is being sold as-is where-is. This is a working, running and driving rollback for cheap. It is far from new. It will run and idle all day long. It is carburated.

Seller Notes: | “This is an old rollback. The power steering hose is leaking or it could be the pump but the power steering does not work well. The door sills are rusted out and the cab itself is not in good shape and it is rusted. The taillights/turn signals will need to be rewired and one of the headlights is very dim because it needs to be rewired. The truck also does need a muffler but can be driven as is. I had a clutch put in it a year or so ago and the speedo cable was not hooked back up. The winch is not working but I'll include a small electric winch that can get the job done. I believe it is an easy fix to fix the hydraulic winch. The bed tilts and slides good, and the pto works. This is a working rollback. The truck is sold as-is. The interior lights also do not work and the drivers side door panel is off and the window comes off track sometimes. The front shocks also probably need to be replaced. The tires are good and should pass inspection. It drives straight.” |
